We use Maestro machines. They work well.

Weirdly, while I had a copy I had never made use of that feature, I used to use it to find locations for manual placement or rework. In fact I wrote my own tool to do BOM Merging, what would be excellent would be if the original creator of SMT-Maestr

Thanks Daan, I forgot about SMT Maestro, but it does a little more than I need. I can easily format that CAD file and the BOM file to match whatever the application requires. That's the easy part. I was looking for a simple tool that I would say

We are currently using a Maestro depanelizer for seperating our boards. We do have component failures due to this process. Has anyone ever used a water-cutting machine. If so, what results can you share with me? Thanks, Doug

If the boards are pre-scored, I've used a system called the CAB Maestro which I found to be a very cost effect piece of equipment. www.cabtechn.com Steve.

We use a maestro to cut apart our boards at the score line. Details on this equipment at http://www.cabtechn.com/ We are currently using this in our prototype lab and production facilities, where we cut the scored boards at rates of 100's per hour.
