We are a smaller company and have created our own systems using FilemakerPro, and it grows and evolves with us as we constantly improve it. Filemaker is a complete relational database system wrapped up WITH the tools to create your user interface -

Thanks Everyone, the information was very useful. We use 7095 as a bible. A-610 6.5.3 doesn't allow for any solder balls not entrapped/attached etc. so we will look again at plugging/tenting both ends of the via. We ran into the problem of the mask

Can anyone recommend a PWB manufacturer who has demonstrated a mature micro via process? Looking for suggestions both domestically and internationally. Thanks in advance for your help. Greg

Anyone have an idea how small a via must be to inhibit significant solder volume escaping into the via?

Does anyone know a surefire way to print micro-vias which are centered on BGA pads and also reduces solder ballooning? Would you design a process around two stencils? -- one for the vias themselves and one for the pads. Could you fill all of the vi

Hello, I am trying to convince our design engineer to use micro-vias when he has to locate them in the middle of a pad. I heard of the use of micro-vias on this site and was wondering if someone could lead me in the direction of somewhere

Hi, "glass wicking failure" we don't know what this is, but we suspect that the reflow process could very well be the root cause for some of our pcba with micro vias failure. Micro vias pcb we know to well (we don't like them at all). There are No p

| Anyone have an idea how small a via must be to inhibit significant solder volume escaping into the via? Typically, micro vias are drilled and plated to about .003" diameter. To avoid significant solder "drain off," they should be drilled as shallow

I'm searching for technical papers on the topic of via-in-pad (through-vias, not micro-vias) -- hopefully with reliability test results. There's been zero response to this question in the past, but I thought I'd ask again. References would be great
