There is a sensor that monitors the temperature of the x and y1/y2 axis on the machine. You have a possible problem with the x temp sensor. There is also a temperature board that is located in the leg area below the keyboard. I am attaching a picture

More than likely the encoder scale or read head has an issue. Many times.. oil/dirt/water get on the scale and cause a bad spot or bad area. Try to clean the scale with a lint free cloth and alcohol. You should also be able to see the read head and m
