Hi, I have put a new camera into a Universal GSM(1) machine, but it takes up an extra feeder slot either side. When optimising itself it does not know that a feeder won't fit there. Does anyone know how to tell it not to allow feeders in certain slot

Thanks for the info. Yes the old camera was a 4mil rectangle, and the new one is a 1mil circle, 2 slots wider. The camera was calibrated on install, but they must have done something wrong, cos it doesn't realise it is 2 slots short. This screws up t

No camera re-calibration is required. Just don't load the deafult calibration parameters. /

Did you update the configuration for the new camera? After changing the configuration I think you have to power cycle the machine for the new settings to take effect.

The install was done by an engineer who does not work for us anymore, so I don't know what was done, the camera operates fine though. Can the size of it be re-configured without re-calibration? Could you tell me the menus to use.

Machine->Configuration then click on the camera graphic and a configuration screen for that camera will pop up. Verify that your configuration matches the camera you have physically mounted on the machine.

Dennis, Not sure why your so secrative about what machine but I guess it doesn't matter. When you start placing 0402 & 0603 packages the difference between height and width and length gets lost in tolerance. This allows the machine to pass parts t
