It has been my experience that when all conditions are as they are supposed to be there should be zero or very little deflection. When you start placing components with pick and place equipment that does not have a Z pressure sense, you run the possi

I got some information on this support mechanism but was a little unsure how it worked. Let's suppose you're getting ready to run the second side, do you place the board on this support and have the support travel into the printer? Or is the support

One thought. Since this machine uses the camera as the board sensor, I've had a metal board support right where the camera sets up to detect the incoming board. Try loading the board after removing all the board supports. If it loads, then try som

Dedicated tooling uses what MPM calls an "H" tower. You mount the board support plate (dedicated tooling) on top of the H tower. If boards are only single-sided SMT, meaning only components on one side, the board support plate is flat with vacuum hol

Check for anything that may contact while activating Z tower (support, wire, connector, etc) I also saw one day a lost PCB causing that kind of problem ?!?!?!?

Gerber standard has been around for long time as a fabrication data model for PCB makers, but not very useful for assemblers as no centroid data is actually present in the data. Also netlists are no supported and have to be calcualated with software

Thanks for the useful instruction. We did find a loose connection. It was the connector right at the camera/PCB. I believe it was bumped when placing board supports (going forward we'll move the camera to the rear when placing board supports).

The numerous traits of an electronic assembly comprise high volume assembly, BGA, AOI and 3 dimensional solder paste inspection. The value incorporated features of these assembly services comprise low loss, blended technology assembly, many layer, du

I would definately try to sell the bosses on the Grid-lok over the gel piggies. We evaluated both and wound up buying the Gel (for close to the same money). On an MPM if you put enough gel packs in the vacuum box (to support the board) it holds the b
