Hi all, could solve the problem already - however thanks for your advices! The problem was caused by a defective relais (loose contact - just resoldered it) in the relatetd circuit.

Thanks MPMENG. Our software is 8.3.3. Has anyone converted to XP (from NT)? What obstacles exist to do this? We'd like the printer on our internal network, where security patches can be applied to the OS.

Reseat all the connectors on the cards make sure pins are clean and no corrosion. Not sure what to say about current, etc. There is or was a place on the east coast that repairs these cards. Can't remember who it is - sorry not much help with that

A UP2000 is a great choice. I'd avoid the AP family from MPM. It's not that they're bad, per se, but the air bearings make it fiddly, maintenance intensive and a giant air hog, and you don't need the speed.

board input sensor sensitivity? maybe conveyor movement triggers it and because of that it sends pulse. conveyor moves few millimeters, how does machine act?

that sounds like bad relay or relay control. are you in position to check it on relay pins? I would go from there.
