Looking for SPM Calibration Procedure for setting the Z-Axis ?

Hello Micheal We are looking for the procedure at this time. And there is no tactile sensor on any SPM made by MPM. The SPM's does not have sensor's on the head either. Any way we will send the procedures and the calibration blocks soon. harry

Have you tried doing a short diagnostic test? That will check the repeatability and backlash of the axis. Did you use the C-tool when calibrating the camera?

The Z axis is overloading. Could be a connector between the top of the table and the bottom of the rails, or a faulty motor, z-brake, or driver. Good luck!

Thank you very much SWAG that password did the trick. Got us into the calibration menu and we were able to calibrate the z-axis and snugger height and got it to work. Thanks again

Did you change the Z-Axis amplifier? Do you have the old black unit or the new retro(blue box)? Have you checked the rear distribution board for a bad or burnt connection? If you haver any further questions please contact george@goppm.com
