A 70 reduction in solder useage is about what we are seeing. You are correct that there are machines that work better with MS2 than others. We are able to make slight modifications to those units, mainly making it more difficult for dross to hide fro

Hi all, I wonder if some of you have experience in use of dross eliminator as a Kester 5744 or maybe with MS2 Molten Solder Sulfactant. I would like to know if they give good results in process and pot cleaning. Regards, Betsy

With the costs of bar solder going through the roof manufacturers need to try to offset the dross related losses any way possible. Companies employ reclamation processes but in practice this only yields roughly 1/3 of the original cost of the solder

What is the name of the dross eliminator you are referring to? Who is the manufacturer? I went to your website and didn't see anything about it? I just ordered some MS2 from P. Kay Metal as I've been hearing some very good things about it from longti

If you want to try and reduce the dross, there is a really interesting product out there that you might want to examine called MS2 - it's developed by P Kay metals out in LA, and is known to completely eliminate dross in lead free processes. I'm not
