Z-force sensor is a tool travel indicator. It has nothing to do with Z travel. Does the Midas head move at all, during initiation? It sounds to me like a Z motor/encoder problem. Is the Midas head ribbon cable plugged in?

Well before you totally give up on the midas head, you may wanna try changing out the ffx board/cable on it to make sure the one in there isn't binding once in a while and giving you your theta errors.

We just went through a similar issue with our MY12E. Make sure your Midas vacuum system is working, check your Midas Z friction. Also verify the Centering unit centering band. You can swap your MOTZ and MOTC to rule out the card. The tool install t
