A philips Topaz is a good machine, I have accurately placed 0402's without a problem, Fine pitch QFP no problem, BGA's not a problem, I am not familiar with the TP9 so hopefully the other guy can answere questions on that, The Topaz is rated at about

We received one about 5 weeks ago, about 65% faster and still have all the flexibility of our original mydata machines. On a side note we had a head to head competition between them and juki for a week.

If the bumps are so small, I do not see any reason for considering Mydata, Siemens or any SMT p&p machine. Datacon's die bonders are very good ones. In your case, I would keep using them.
