Agree with WiIIR and also can recommend to play with vaccum pump RPM . Slower vacuum increasing have help me to resolve one problem caused by the vacuum (it was solder splash from BGA balls, but the reason can be similar to your case). Also check i

Hi, MYDATA's are ok for lower volume, and they are very flexible. If you only have 1 or 2 trays of components and are on a tight budget, then you can even place the trays on the Y wagon behind the PCB so you can get away without the tray wagon. Al

MYDATA MY9E: Hydra's pipe can't stop the vacuum during assembly. The problem ocurre just in only one pipe, the number 5. The tool picks components but doesn't drop it. Can the problem be in the unit vacuum?

Sounds to me that the issue may be with vacuum and part of it, after the segment is put there's a little measure of air that pushes the segment far from the spout in MYDATA we consider it a kiss in my office, have you watch that the air that "puffs"

"Usually people use the vacuum to remove air and then replace with nitrogen to eliminate oxidation and a medium for bacterial growth. Why anyone would need to vacuum pack a pcb is beyond me, though. " We might get a batch of 400 pcbs in but the kit

1) Swapped it out a few weeks ago to attempt to combat the problem ... Great minds eh? 2) I'll try changing the position setting to see if my yields improve. 3) Ahh yes, in fact, I have verified that our vacuum levels are low (range ~130). The
