I appreciate the help. The Hydra travel is fine and goes down and back up with no trouble. I swapped the Z Mot board with the Y Mot board with no change. The long ribbon cables were changed about a month ago but I will inspect them again to be sure.

For the hydra camera z-level - there is short section in manual - mentions using metal ruler to cover the camera - but for the other cal steps - I see nothing in the manuals for instructions - so I don't know if any special jigs are needed? I don't h

Thanks Phil But the belt and spring has been changed recently. Unfortunatly we couldn't wait any longer for a solution, so we had to go for a change of the hydra-unit. This seems to have solved the matter, but I had hoped for a less expensive solutio

Another thing you can check is where the bar comes down off of the hydra z motor there is a little bearing you can see from the front make sure that bearing is turning even oil it up a little. You can also adjust the tension by loosening the tiny set

Based on the my15 we used to have and our current My100's I'd say it lost the position of the tool bank. Is it Hydra or Midas tooling? Uninstalling and reinstalling the hydra tool bank is fairly easy. If it's Midas tools, does it fetch other tools
