we are currently running 0201 components using the c-14 tool on the my9 pick and place and are having a lot of missing components with in the PCB's. is anyone or has anyone had this problem? if so, were you able to finf a fix for it?

Found a company that builds modified tool tips for my9 with stainless steel tip. we are going to try one and seen if it helps on placing the 0201 components. the rubber tip just gets damaged too easy and components stick to it do the solder flux.

so, i found a new tool tip nozzle for the my9 to place the 0201 components and works perfect. the tool tip is also made out of stainless steel. the nozzle was completely modified and works alot better than the OEM nozzle.

the jaws are not for electrical testing do to being two solid stainless steel pieces. i dont really have any issues with 0402's, i got them placing good. its the 0201's that are a pain. attached is a picture of the centering jaws for you to see.

FYI we also found a set of centering jaws that were up for sale at http://www.mybidpage.com these were also modified and made of stainless steel. the guy a bought the jaws from also said, he would be posting more up for sale after getting them back f

you can use whatever you prefer, but they work just fine for us. have not had any problems with 0402 parts anymore, and get more use out of them than the stock jaws. we dont have to replace them as often, and seem to center just fine, and mager diffe

I doubt that you will gain any advantage from stainless jaws. I think the stock jaws have beryllium inserts in them. I am pretty sure beryllium is harder than SS. Maybe stainless jaws with carbide inserts in them would work better ? Or what about c

Hi, Has anyone had a issue with a MyData my12 dual camera system, were the calibration always shifts up after a few hours of use. It's not the mechanical calibration. it is like the machine loses it's software calibration co-ordinates ?? Any ideas
