Yes, a MYDATA TP9 UFP machine can place components up to 2.2" square without any modifications. Refurbished TP9 UFP machines sell for about $45K in the USA.

We have a MyData TP9-UFP that we would like to network with a PC as a network. The documentation that we have is, at best, minimal. To export files, our choices with TPSys 1.5.18 are DOS-disk, UNIX, Kermit and FTP. The files are too big for a flop

Hi all, During our last production run, our MyData TP9 machine shut down on its own mid assembly. Screen went blank. I turned off the power switch and waited 10mins before trying to power it up again. I turn the switch on and hear the fan turning on

Thanks for the info. And what about accuracy of the placement. Are both machines able to handle the same parts or are there any differences like for small components or BGA?

You should contact MYDATA service department and see what advise their phone support people can offer. You may not be doing the process correctly (wrong calibration boards, etc...)
