Used this paste on ENIG boards W/O N2 and had very good results. (0402's,BGA's,16mil FP) Never had the need to use N2 with this paste on our products. Running with N2 shouldn't hurt anything. The wetting properties should get even better than they ar

Yes, it is time and temperature, but it is also speed and distance. Even though you can run a longer machine faster, the boards have a longer distance to travel and you do too, so the cycle time per board may not improve be reduced as much as you th

I need to setup an oven to run with a nitrogen atmosphere for boards with BGA's, but our ovens do not have the optional atmosphere monitor and controller. Is there a good way to sample and control the atmosphere without the optional built-in atmospe

Maybe here's an opportunity to get a new oven. Electrovert, BTU and Vitronics offer closed-loop N2 control as an option. This, together with other improvements on oven design can reduce N2 consumption by as much as 40%. Not to mention reductions in e
