Hello Gabriella, The brand does matter a lot because some machines use 2 or 3 times more electric and N2. So, look at how much energy they use.

Other areas you can focus 1) Find out alternative chemical and solder materials for lower cost. 2) Set high power consumption machine (such as Oven and wave) to idle mode when not running to cut electrical consumption. 3) Reduce the used of N2 gas.

fluctuating PPM is not the Nitrogen if you are using liquid Nitrogen. It is the Oxygen. Your problem is not with the Nitrogen flow, it is Oxygen getting in your oven.
