The install of the new closed loop system is totally dependant on which m/c and levell of software you have. the maximum time it should take for a older m/c that has to have new wiring run in the m/c should take no longer than five days including tra

Change times for the Rheo pump are probably a little slower than just swapping blades. You have to hook up the sensors & air lines, remove the bottom cover + charge the pump to get it to operating pressure before you can print. I would guess that if y

Timed an actual Change today. It took about 6 min to actually change the head and then about a 2 minutes to start printing again after installing the new stencil & loading the program for the next PCB. The whole thing including stencil swap out & pr

Looks like it was the diode inside the encoder. Are getting a new printer instead. Did a short time fix, connected a power supply to the motor and controlled the speed that way.

You can get prototype stencils for $140 from Stencils Unlimited. I've never used their services but I have considered it. The stencils are frameless and even come with a hand squeegee for you. http://www.stencilsunlimited.com/prototype_stencils.ph

Here's what I do: - Test Surface Insulation Resistance (we're in the high reliability market and use a test significantly harder than IPC's). I also test SIR in combination with other assembly materials like conformal coatings and wave solder flux

Thanks Wolfgang / Charles Have tried method suggested by Wolfgang on one product, and seem to be a bit over (perhaps density calculation was a bit out). Also, the volume of paste deposited must be less than the voume of the apetures on the stencil b

He everyone, We have an Ekra E5 screen printer which is really nice machine I think. Now I'm looking forward a new squeegees set. I don't know the E-series and the X-series can use both squeegees? Are the squeegee holder the same on this two machin

I've been wondering if I was the only person thinking this. There are so many print parameters that are programmable now on new machines (squeegee pressure, height, speed, snap-off settings, cleaning intervals) that the process would (in my oh-so-hu
