one of the guys was baking a 672BGA . he mistakenly left the oven on over night so instead of baking for 12 hours at 125 degrees C, they got baked for 24 hours. Is there any detrimental impact on the BGAs or are they just well baked???

Wages will depend on which coast you want to locate to. West coast wages are pretty low, but east coast is high. Housing prices range dramatically too. Sydney, for instance, is one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in.

I use Alpha 857 W.S. for wave is that what you mean? If so, I love this stuff, it solders everything. one downside to it is convection (wave , rework) can dry it out and leave white hazes and even residues at the joints.

Ask the distributor (or coilcraft) what the termination material is & if they do alternative ones. These maybe from old stock. If you get no joy have a look at Epcos & Murata who both have wide ranges of surface mount inductors.
