Hi Dror, I also work in Israel in smt field. We get the info from the offline optimizer and arrange it in the following way: element - machine no - f/r - place (for example 100nf - 3F34) Elements are placed in abc order, so it is easier to find it

CircuitCAM [ http://www.aiscorp.com ] will probably do what you want. Amoung things, it works great for push lines, where we change the setup depending on the skills of the operators on hand.

So, nobody uses digital camera's huh? Operators like "real pictures" the most. Sure, it looks technical to use a gerber-exported dxf file, bla-bla-bla...I used to do that in 1995... but picture's worth a thousand words......

You might also want to look @ Blueprint. We do use CircuitCAM for SMT program generation; we've found it's less effective for THT and Post assembly operations. We are also considering on-line documentation; it has shown promise in our final assembly

Did You verify operation of the oscillaators(resonaters) by heating and cooling and looking at the waveforms and frequencies when doing so. We have problems when they are not packed correcttly from vendors , and sometimes they can get crackes in them
