If it is anything like my Flexa then you would have to purchase the IP2 module license in order to communicate with the machine from flexa. I have had to purchase separate licenses for my different pieces of equipment. CP6, NXT, QP3, CP7

Agree with MKE, some reconditioned CP6 machines would be fine for you if you want bombproof equipment and low operation cost, but no flexibilty at all, unless you have small assys with few part numbers, If you want more felxibility, GSMs are OK, easy

Nope, I agree Russ. (Except for Siemens being garbage - there's a lot worse out there!) We run Fuji CP6E's and they are bombproof.

I know there was some discussion a few months ago on this topic but I don't think a good solution was offered for checking CpK using chips using a chip shooter. I am looking for a way to measure this on our Fuji CP6-4000. Any suggestions? Jerry

Hi Manuel, Do you not have a fine pitch placer?if not may be you need to slow down the placement speed on the QFN - I would imagine you would get a lot of fails trying to use the vision to pick up the component lands. We place thousands of QFNs and
