Unplug the tactile sensor and check the switch with an ohm meter. If the tactile sensor switch is good go in one of the drawers in the back of the machine and with the help of your schematics find the opto-module that controls the tactile sensor circ

We manufacture opto-electronics, small ccd cameras for pipeline inspection. I was wondering if anyone knew of a standard value for the recommended humidity of an assembly environment for optos in particular or for general electronic assembly. We had

Has anyone found out why you are having so many optos fail in the field? It could be the design or possibly the customers application that is damaging this device (In which case, it may still be the design. Perhaps it's not robust enough.). Are th

Here is how smema works: Machine A has a board to give to machine B. Machine A has an opto or a relay that will turn on or close when it is ready to pass this board to machine B. This is the "board available from previous" signal, telling machine B

Dilbert, You are both right! Just above the schematic in the Smema standard it says: "Conformance to the standard may be achieved by the appropriate design of the equipment or by providing special adaptors which enable the equipment to meet the stand

Hi Guys.. Does anybody had experienced with designing the stencil for Right Angle LED without any dewetting problem on the LED termination? Currently our stencil opening is 1:1 and we still got so high reject due to this problem. Pls Advise, thanks

Hi Jim, We had a similar problem with an AP-27. You could try to jumper the wires which lead in to the reed switch. Failing that you could swap out the opto module for this, in our machine it's located in rack 2-15. Rgards, Kev.

Hi Chris. Can't specifically address optos, but I have spec'd RH requirements and Temp requirements for new facilities I helped design for manufacturing here in FL (humidity center of the universe). For an overall benefit, I considered the potential

As you are running Left to Right it is the trailing edge of the board leaving the board at left opto that tells the board stop to lower (not the sensor under the camera - that just confirms the board has arrived at the board stop). How big is the boa
