How does the cost of these machines compare to setting up a spray booth? The large outsource coating houses around here all spray from a gun in a booth instead of using machines. Is there a breakpoint in volume where the machines make more sense?

we have several assemblies coated in certonal. Some are even outsourced by adcota. It is basically 3m's 'Scotch guard'. Very easy to use with no masking required.

Cool! A 3 year plus thread! Well, to answer your question, don't build it yourself. Manufacturing is completely different from engineering. I could spend the next 3 yeras explaining why you shouldn't, but it appears this has already happened. An
