We have a dozen 401/402's, and we're happy with them; we really haven't had major issues; just your normal wear and tear. They've certainly come a long ways since the CM20's and CM201/202's. Service has been pretty satsifactory.

Does anyone have any experience with the Panasonic offline recognition machine? If so, thoughts? Would you recommend? Pros and cons? We would be using this with NPM W2 machines...and possibly CM402 machines if possible to use with both.
