We have a dozen 401/402's, and we're happy with them; we really haven't had major issues; just your normal wear and tear. They've certainly come a long ways since the CM20's and CM201/202's. Service has been pretty satsifactory.

The PT comms error relates to the offline programmer PT200 software needed to upload SMT placement programs. The default passwords are usually either nothing at all or the machine model CM401 so try them. If not it would've been set by the installer.
