0201 on CP43

Electronics Forum | Tue Mar 17 16:56:45 EDT 2009 | gregf912

Sorry Keith but is not possible to place 0201 parts on the CP43 machine. THe XY table is not tight enough on the resolution or the Z height. The parts camera will not be able to tell the part from the nozzle. THe CP6-4000 machine can not do 0201 part

Quad 4c Nozzle Height Saga

Electronics Forum | Tue Oct 10 11:06:04 EDT 2006 | lheiss

Hi All, I wasn't sure how this would turn out until I ran some production. As I suspected, after every nozzle change the machine dumps the first 3 pickups, checks the nozzle height again (function 30?) and then begins placing with correction with n

OK, I forgot to import the new order into the task block builder but that didn't resolve the issue. I decided to reduce the height of the part in the definition from 510 mils (which it is) to 450 mils and it places without a problem. Its strange bec

Jammed Fuji CP65 Nozzles?

Electronics Forum | Tue Jan 30 10:43:18 EST 2007 | darburch

Before you do anything to the windmills check the heights in your PD's and if you are using board supports be certain that they are set correctly. The CP 65 has approx 1.8mm of travel before the pin will get stuck, as the nozzle should only deflect .

parts moving after placement?

Poly, I don't know the UIC GX11 but on other machines I would first look at component height in the program. If it is not in the paste you may have the part height set too high which means you are dropping it onto the past not pushing it into the p
