If the placement is off the same amount everytime...(which I suspect it will be)...just adjust your placement co-ordinate for the part and be done with it.

If I am reading the spec right it puts down 32,000 parts per hour. Looks pretty slick, not much info on the website though and could only get a 1 page spec sheet from Fuji.

Try adjusting your vision file. There are a couple of different ways you can vision this part. Why is the nozzle cut down. We place electro. caps also and use a standard nozzle. Are you using a deep pocket feeder. MrMaint

....how does the part perform in a wetting test. Is it solderable on a bench or dip-plating in a pot? If you add flux and heat can you fix your problem assemblies? If yes, plating finish or substrate is not your problem. What flux are you using?

Hi all, we will be moving our pcb production to a different (newer) part of the plant this summer in an effort to reduce dust and better control the temp/humidity. What can I install to keep the dust down? Are there air exchangers/filters for a room

I was wondering what is the equivalent of the Philips Eclipse 1 as per Yamaha Part Number. I know that the Philips Topaz is the Yamaha YV100 but for the Philips Eclipse, I couldn't find anything.

If you do SMT with an SAC alloy, and the Wave Solder with SN100C, what is the impact of accidentally reworking the through hole parts with an SAC alloy wire solder? Or reworking the SAC alloy with an SN100C wire solder? Brian

I'm not familiar with this particular oven, but have seen this problem once before. As it turned out there was a flexible curtain near the end of the reflow tunnel on the oven. Some very fine strands had frayed from the curtain and were catching on

I had the same incident before, and like GS pointed out, the degassing from the via under the component was responsible. The via was covered with solder mask, but it burst open during the reflow.

We had this happen in a Heller 1808 oven when we placed Tant-A caps in glue (bottom side / no paste). We had our oven retrofitted to control the zone blower speeds. No more problem.
