Air Quality in Production Floor

Electronics Forum | Fri Sep 26 16:34:16 EDT 2008 | aqueous

Its not likely your air quality that lowers the test solution's resistivity. Maintaining 60 M-Ohm requires almost constant circulation through DI resin beds. Just natural CO2 (Carbon dioxide) absorbed by the test solution will lower the resistivity

The most common method is a R.O.S.E tester. They have been around for 30 years and are an industry standard for ionic contamination (flux and other residues) testing. Manufacturers include: Zero Ion www.aqueoustech.com Omegameter / Ionagraph http:/

Using isopropanol with DI water for rinsing after washing boards

Electronics Forum | Thu Nov 10 10:45:32 EST 2011 | aqueous

The use of IPA in automated defluxing systems is nearly extinct for the following reasons: 1. IPA is flammable. In a spray-in-air environment, the already low flashpoint is even lower. 2. IPA is not a great solvent. There are specific containme

Dr. Lee, Given the higher reflow temperatures for Pb-Free assembly, will common FR4 laminate materials be adequate, or do you believe that higher glass content boards will be required for mainstream Pb-free assembly? As a corollary question - if man
