1. Why isn't an electrician doing this? 2. Did you measure phase-to-phase voltage between each phase at the machine? 3. Phase rotation only affects the 3-phase motors. If it's out of sequence, the motors will spin backwards but everything else sho

Woo10, If you need assistance with profiling in the vapor phase environment, I am with KIC Thermal and we have been working with vapor phase equipment manufactures developing processes and profilers for use in the vapor phase reflow applications. P

I just purchased a MyData SMT machine that requires 3 phase 208V. I have 240 single phase with a 3 phase power converter that outputs 240V 3 phase. Should I be concerned about the differences in voltages and if so how should I solve this issue.

The power outside your building will certainly be 3 phase. The power to your building will almost certainly be 3 phase. Why not simply get a transformer and have 3 phase power available for the machine? It will probably be a much better option than l

Does anyone know of any vapor phase oven manufacturers? The application requires bonding a 3-D object at various joint surfaces using eutectic solder. The vapor zone shall require approximately 10 inches of height. The available SMT vapor phase ov

Hi Dilbert, it is a step up transformer from 3 phase 208 to 3 phase 380. Each machine does not draw more than 3 Amps per phase. However, circuit breakers are rated at 15 Amps. The transformer has three power outlets, each one has a Perilex (European)

I too would advise against converting a 3-phase machine to single phase. Eclipse is a single phase machine and not too difficult to find! It's a rugged machine and people still use them. Orion too is single phase but faster and less accurate than an
