We used a photo-optic sensor powered off the conveyor after the oven that is tied to a relay that trips when a board is seen at the sensor which causes a buzzer to go off. Very simple to make. Good luck.

What kind of Tyco machine?? If its a Q-series you need to have a feeder that has photo sensors across the top to index the next part. There are things you can do to make the machine pick up parts at a better percentage.
