No-clean flux residues can be either cleanable or not cleanable. The not cleanable type leave a milky white residue on the solder connection after suitable soaking in water. Your flux supplier will have suggestions on the appropriate flux.

There should be no problem. Recognize that the residue of some low residue fluxes turn a milky-white color when you wash them. This could freak your quality people.

Ideally first you need to analyze the residue to see what it is. We had a customer with white residues after wave and elemental analysis revealed tin.
