jet dispensing highly-filled polymers

Electronics Forum | Tue Aug 05 08:33:06 EDT 2003 | Mike Stadt

Is jet dispensing of highly filled polymers possible? I have only seen applications with SMT adhesives, where the filler content is on the order of 10%.

Wave soldering of Carbon Switch pads on PCB

Electronics Forum | Mon Apr 07 22:07:25 EDT 2003 | davef

It depends on the carbon polymer that the fabricator printed on your board. It could be: * No wave soldering * Wave soldering with a peelable mask * Wave soldering ... probably one of the latter two. Watch it. Some temporary masks can affect the

My specialty. Your right, Most corrugated contains S02 and the pallet is usually out gassing formic acid as well. Not a great environment for silver. Original press release follows: Reactive Polymers At AT&T Bell Labs, John P. Franey has developed

Where can I find laminates containing non-halogenated PCB? I'm especially interested in FR-4 and CEM-3, 1.6 mm 25um. Thanks in advance! Dr. Lennart Johansson Polymer Support

Plastic fingers for wave solder machines

Electronics Forum | Mon Jan 31 10:21:27 EST 2000 | boca raton

I've seen some plastic fingers advertised for wave solder machines. Anyone used 'em? They are 'glass-reinforeced polymer resin', they are supposed to stand the heat, can be mixed with titanium fingers on the machine, and cheaper! (near and dear to
