What I would ask before actually answering your question is, what is the smallest footprint/pad which can be pressure dispensed/jet printed? Regards, Tom.

The biggest problem with double printing is that if the squeegee pressure and speed are correct, the stencil apertures are already filled with paste. Printing again can force paste between the bottom of the stencil and the top of the board creating

If you MUST double print, probably to get good aperture fill near board edges, I would recommend letting off on pressure (maybe 20%) to minimize the bleed. Alot depends on your board (gasket) quality.

Jet printing can reach 80um, whereas contact dispensing is 0.3mm I believe. 0402 pads are 0.6x0.5mm.

Look at your paste specs, they give you recommended starting points relating to speed and pressure. Dave F is right, it is usually about 1 pound per linear inch of squeegee length. Speed for finepitch printing should be started at about 1in/sec. T
