What kind of print problems are you Having? Off pad, Voids? Or is it slumping, etc? You really should be all set with OSP boards. If I can get some more specific info I could probably help.

Bernie, If the pads are for a chip component and only about a half a pad off without anything else in the misregistered area, go ahead and use the stencil as is. Surface tension of the solder at liquidus should cause it to wick back to the pad, even

I am working with a CM in Taiwan and we are seeing significant differences between the paste printing bon the forward stroke vs the backward stroke. Print parameters are the same (pressure, speed, snap off speed) but there is a significant difference

Be careful of just reducing your aps. Too much can cause tombstoning if your print is slightly off or your placement isn't right on. Also be careful of the "pac-man" type of ap - it can lean to asty cuts if you wipe off your stencils by hand. Do

A good paste will print fine up to 5 in/sec or so. They key, as mentioned, is to get the pressure right for a given squeegee speed. If the squeegees aren't giving a clean wipe then you'll see huge variation in print volume which can lead to shortin

Hey SWAG, any idea where that Nano Protek goes, that you have to replace it? (and I am not talking about polishing up wheels) Is it being scrubbed off of the stencil during the print process, and over time it must be replenished? Sorry a bit off top

We use the Brady parts, from the PS-094 up thru the PS-500 size, on a Brady 300MVP printer. We also use that printer for marking Brady polyimide labels. The problem is when we try to print on the smaller markers the printing keeps wandering off the

We've used pump print stencils on and off for a couple of years now, and experimented with various epoxies. One supplier gave us some samples to try and we found that the adhesive they supply for normal metal stencil printing didn't work well with th

I know from previous experiences that off contact printing have helped us reduce bridges and smears under the stencil. I am looking for ANY documentation regarding this topic in order to try to implement a change at our current factory. If anyone ha

Hi, We are trying to break a component ( SMT component ) off the printed circuit board and measure the quality of the solder joint. But, after breaking off and having the reading, we do not know whether the reading is it within the component specifi
