We assume your stencil is clean. So, try: * Reduce stencil separation speed. * Reduce squeegee pressure. If the pressure is not proper, excess number of particles are stuffed into an aperture and inner pressure / friction among particles increase, an

Solder paste jetting vs time pressure dispensing

What I would ask before actually answering your question is, what is the smallest footprint/pad which can be pressure dispensed/jet printed? Regards, Tom.

Solder paste jetting vs time pressure dispensing

Jet printing can reach 80um, whereas contact dispensing is 0.3mm I believe. 0402 pads are 0.6x0.5mm.

Standard for Stencil printers edges pressure

Electronics Forum | Wed Apr 19 10:27:30 EDT 2006 | russ

Look at your paste specs, they give you recommended starting points relating to speed and pressure. Dave F is right, it is usually about 1 pound per linear inch of squeegee length. Speed for finepitch printing should be started at about 1in/sec. T

Solder paste jetting vs time pressure dispensing

Seeing this graphic has me rethinking solder paste jetting as alternative to stencil printing. It seems it's only 2-3x faster 80k points per hour vs 28k. Wouldn't it be better to get 10 time pressure dispensers vs 1 solder jet?

Please can any users of the Rheopump or Enclosed Print Head unit tell me what cartridge pressure setting they use when using lead free paste....many thanks Graham

manual stencil print 2 passes

It depends how manual is the printer. you need to control pressure and speed. If you control both by hand, it is difficult to discuss results. If the pressure is controlled by the printer, than you should be able to do it by one deposit. Also is the

DEK HORIZON 265 Squeege Pressure question

It is not abnormal for the first 2-4 prints to be compensation strokes where the print pressure stablises to its set pressure, ideally the variation is

SPC for MPM UP1500 Stencil Printers

When we DOE a board, we use the following independent print variables: * Print pressure * Print speed * Separation speed * Aperture orientation * Squeegee hardness
