Qualifying products in process?

I'm looking for practical proceedures to do the following: How to qualify epoxy in our process. One supplier vs. another. How to qualify wave solder and flux in our process. One supplier vs. another. Any and all advice is welcome.

Obviously, designing energy efficient products is good for the environment, but does it cost more? If so, how do I justify these costs in a competitive marketplace?

Good question * Rich lathrop at Heraeus wrote a good paper on quantifying the printability of adhesives. You can probably find it on their site. * J-STD-001 is the baseliine for qualifying processes. Good luck
