Go to Slaine's 2nd link, then right click on the PDF icon & do a "save target as". Took about 30 seconds. Didn't work the other way. Cheers Slaine, Rob.

Dennis We know that cyanoacrylates are flammable and breathing hazard before curing, but are unaware that the cured adhesive had those properties also. Can you give us documentation of that fact?

Distilled water is a perfectly adeqaute alternative to DI water. As you say, they just are produced using different processes and technically could have slightly different properties, but for every day requirements can be used interchangeably.

Good move. Again, stainless can NOT be soldered with standard materials used in electronic manufacturing, as everyone agrees in this thread. Additionally, the physical properties of stainless have to be altered in order for soldering to take place.

Hi everyone, Is there any instrument that you are using to measure the tensile strenght of a solder joint?. I would like to measure that from smd and thru hole parts. I just want to take a few samples to verify the mechanical properties. Thanks

Does anyone have experience with the smoke release properties of PCB laminates? I need to pass UL 2043 and I know FR4 does not pass. I also need to be ROHS and otherwise UL listed/recognized material. Thanks.
