Wondering how good the software is for the Quad QSA 30 is. Is it a pain to program? We have panels with 100 boards... 1500 parts, I hope you don't have to manually teach the whole panelized board. Any other info you can provide is welcome. We

The QSA30 is basically a Samsung CP40 with a few changes. For an older machine the programming is pretty good. it can do array boards and has an import feature for XY data. Tts been about 7 years since I ran one. Its a pretty solid machine.

Check the software version before you buy it. If it is not version 6.75 do not buy it. This is the last version released for this machine and fixes many bugs that made running a panelized board a nightmare. 0603 parts and above is where i would stay

Make sure the board size is big enough. the placement can not be outside of the board size.

we had a special nozzle made and used the new quad 0402 feeder and the machine didnt miss a part.....but its probably best only to use 1 head to pick the parts because of the z being not 'perfect' between heads and thats where you would have problems
