If all of the lights are on, on the operator interface panel usually that means the EPCU is defective or not fully seated correctly. If you swapped out the EPCU board from another machine you need to make sure its the same type of machine. If it has

We have two QUAD 4C working in tandem. 3 months ago the EPCU battery (QUAD # 2) died, then we change it. Then downloaded the MODs from the controller to the assembler(does simultaneously on both machines). All this time we continue to work normally.

Good job, For the comm errors i would try: 1. Reseat all the cables that plug into the white multiplexer that is attached to the back of the computer. 2. Reseat the EPCU card down inside the machine. good luck, Merry Xmas, Bob
