Your firmware is so old that the problem is not in the mod codes anyways. You have a problem with the cyberoptics head. If its not working at all, i would remove the lens assy on the front side where the cable plugs in and blow out the unit. Maybe if

I have been in the process of setting up a Quad 2C that lost its mod codes myself. Have you cleaned the glass encoder strips for X and Y? I was getting alot of motor errors until I cleaned them and I believe it was the error 4. Hope this helps.

I did clean both lenses from the outside and checked all the MOD codes. I even removed the battery to reset everything and re-programmed all the codes but to no avail. I will strip it down and fully clean it to see if that helps. Just strange that

Hi Marcelo The two machines I mentioned are the American type but they have an internal transformer fitted to convert from 110 to 220 Volts for U.K. Incidentally only one of the machines does it on a regular basis whilst the other one is mostly O.K
