Hi, my Quad IV-c is showing a really dark image on the camera and its VERY difficult to see the components pads to make the adjusts. I already check the monitor brightness (at maximum and I can see the crosshair, so the monitor is good) and already

It sounds to me like your using only the Global fiducial mode. If your running multiple images on one panel use image fiducials instead

no problem. Tell them to check old 'q-tips' and i believe it was called 'c-series odd placement' and there is a basic 'how to' on doing multi-rotated boards. Its not easy and could frustrate you but it will definatly work.

Move the camera over a feeder position and shine a flashlight to see if the image improves.....if it does....your light ring needs replaced or the led's need replaced in it. Sometimes just re-adjusting the angle of the led's in the ring can help. Go

Mikej, I'm only running a single image, just want to correct for the slight variations in how the board seats in the transport. It's not more than a few mils off, but enough to cause an issue on fine pitch parts. I don't have any image fiducial

I've got a new board (actually a new panel...a 4 up, with one row rotated, where it was a 2 up panel with no rotation before) that runs fine on the IVc but not on the IIIc. I've used the same reference points for the image rotation (fiducials) on bot

Thank you very much. I swapped the component length and width measurements in Autoprogram and it now places the SOT23's with image verification no problem. As for the 0402's I am still working on this. Pick and place is very new to me, well I start
