Thanks for the reply. I have not performed the camera to nozzle calibration. Is this the same as the calibration of the vu3 camera in the manual? If you would please give me your instructions, any help is appreciated.

The camera to nozzle offset calibration requires that you modify some of the mod codes once the offsets are calculated. This is not part of the VU3 calibration. Send me your email address so that i can attach a copy of the manual for you.

I got the camera nozzle offset corrected but after the machine runs for a while the offset will drift and its out the specs I set it to. Any help is appreciated.

It does sound as if you may have an encoder problem. Have you cleaned the encoder glass ? A spec of grease or other matter on theis glass can cause problems. Be careful when cleaning because you do not want to break it. Clean the front of the encoder

Additionally, I have seen the bad align error from incorrect pickup Z. Quad align can freak out sometimes if it sees something it doesn't like. If all else fails I just reboot and 99% of the time the problem goes away.
