Philips Topaz X vs. Samsung CP45FV

For What It Is Worth I can only tell you I have had both Philips & Samsung machines. The Philips seems to be very flexible and the parts library is better than the Samsung. I had 2 QSA-30 Quad machines which were made by Samsung and Defining parts

Upgrading to less obsolete equipment.

I am using ver 6.50 software. Do you know Quad Align compared to Cyber or Samsung's own, which is better? Do you know if the QSA30V support non-symatrical Micro-BGA such as DDR2 DRAM IC?

Quad Align.....Cyber-optics....no difference...they both work well. Never tried a micro-bga but i know the upward camera does standard bga parts.

Yes, the Quad IV C machines look like they have been picked for parts. Obviously, same for the CP45FV. The QSA30 machines LOOK to be in better shape, but I could be wrong. Jon

Those cards are all different. The c-series stands alone by itself while a qsp2 and qsa-30 mount into a slot. They were all manufactured seperately for each machine. I would purchase a new refurbished one for the 2c machine and forget about the other
