We build a mixed tech [eg, QFP, SMT fly shit, DIP] board where we can't clinch the DIP. So we set the clinch and cut on the DIP to just barely clinch, leaving the leads very perpendicular to the board. I wonder if you could do something similar wit

We had the same problem years ago when we started using a radial inserter. The inserter would dutyfully insert and clinch the leads. The problem in our case was the component body sealing to the fab, especially on electrolytics caps with a film jac

Hello all, we are about to modify a Universal Radial 5 so the machine will be able to insert radial components with lead pitch 3.5mm and 5mm. The 3.5mm components are ELCOs which are getting inserted all the way to the component body so they sit fi

Insertion isn't enough. You also need cut and clinch for axial, radial, and dip components.

We have a need to manually insert, cut and clinch a radial part that is prep close to spec on a board traveling down a standard conveyor. Is anyone aware of such a system? I only know of regan off line.

I think I forgot to mention a little detail here: our boards go through automatic insertion before entering the smt train. We use old machines (universal radial 3 and radial 5), so clinching is not perfect. Do you still think glue printing is a good

Hello, Is there anybody screen printing glue on the underside of the PCB, when there are through leads, dip, axial & radial parts already cut and clinched into the board? Is there anybody just printing glue on a flat substrate? If the answer to e
