You'll still have to dispose of filters and whatnot and recycle your water polishing system tanks as hazardous materials.

We just put them in with the dross from our wave machine. It all ends up @ a metal recycler anyway. DG

Corroding the cleaning fluid? OK I still don't under stand? Does your screen printer recycle the fluid and the paste is mixing with it?

Maybe at dat homie�s shop, they opted ta use Semco ridetridges instead of jars, and they didn�t gots a process put in place ta recycle da old solder paste. - aww yea foo.

After have so much discussion about this solder dross reduction, which way is the best to achieve good solder quality with low cost investment? Would it be add additive or recycling the dross or use N2 during wave soldering process??

James, Smart thinking!! That�s what Swatch and probably Sony does. And to set the record straight Japan doesn�t have a lead ban in solders only a recycling program similar to the European WEEE

We use an evaporation system to eliminate the need to dispose of any wastewater, you may want to look into this, big cost savings in the end. We recycle the wasted paste with our dross.
