Thanks for the reply. Just one more question. If there is less solvent but the residues are harder to clean. would there be more contaminant left on the boards? Has anyone did a cleanliness test?

thanks pete, i have requested information from their local rep in our place. However, from the response that i got, the volume data you get in their VM system is a calculated value, not a true volume measurement.

I am still in confusion what does it mean? I simply have a heat pump which is the part of the HVAC in my home. It is not used over here I supposed.

We have tried other stencils with different size openings but this company will not allow us time or money to run any experiments to define stencil criteria and printer settings, its just run, run, run. They really dont care about post reflow yields.
