double sidded reflow problems

We run double sided surface mount boards through our Heller oven without any parts falling off the bottom side unless they are too big/heavy. The trick we use is to set the bottom side temperature in the final 3 heat zones 10C-20C lower than the top

What kind of ict nail should we use when testing a board that does not go through wave solder? There is no dome shape for our nails to "bite" into, and we are having problems.

I assume your oven has a "board width" setting for every board and the conveyor width is automatically adjusted as soon as you select the profile/recipe... For the double sided reflow boards, I would set the width 1 inch (or another rounded amount)

How many of you run a different oven recipe for the secondary side of a double sided reflow assembly. In other words, would you use the same recipe for both sides ?
