its being a while since I used the Flexa, but I remember there was an option for reject position where you can change from box to conveyor, but not sure if it was on the part or shape library, not on the machine_id.

If the machine is throwing components at the "void" where the error should be, place a box. The standard rejection are quite small, large parts will not fit.
