We are setting up a facility in China and would like to verify the resistivity reading on our Westek wash machine. The only tool we have at this time is a multimeter. The machine reads .570 Mohms and the MM reads around .25 Mohms at a probe distance

Dave, I would not recommend use of a multi-meter to determine high quality DI water resistivity readings. There are a number of reasons including a multi-meters lack of temperature compensation. We use a Myron-L resistivity meter to accurately de

We have a SMT800-CL and we are having issues reading the Sump/Chamber Temp and Resistivity. We are looking for a manual, parts list, or service manual for the machine that we purchased used in 2012. The RAW reading of the sump and chamber Resistivit

A fairly painless method for monitoring cleanliness is Resistivity Of Solvent Extract [ROSE]. Equipment is: * Omegameter * Ionograph * Ion Chaser [Zero-Ion] Anyone who desires to use an Resistivity Of Solvent Extract tester should read EMPF repor

Oooo, big bucks wusher!!! Consider the SMTnet Archives a valued resource. For instance, look at: http://www.smtnet.com/Forums/index.cfm?fuseaction=view_thread&CFApp=1&Thread_ID=1632&mc=2 As far as your resistivity measurement is concerned, you hav

Power up the circuit, and see how it performs. Check voltages at the input and the output, and compare to a known good board. Otherwise, you can check resistance in an un-powered circuit. Compare the readings to a known good board. cheers, ..rob
