Contamination under chip resistor array

Naw, accounting is boring. Standoff could be an issue. Coupla things: * Above 30 thou, just about any cleaning process, more sophisticated than a garden hose, will produce acceptable results * Below 10 thou, can be cleaned with best efforts, but not

resistor and capacitor naming codes for smt.

I'm looking for a chart that will help me identify smt resistors and capacitors. I have figured out a few on my own. a resistor with the numbers 510 printed on it was a 51 ohm resistor. numbers 221 was a 220 ohm resistor. numbers 102 was a 1k resis

If there is damage of the glass coating or exposure of the resistive element it is a defect.

Hi, Pl let me know about opinion/experience whether thick film chip SMD resistor which is MSL-1 Required to bake before being usedon SMT line. I want to use SMD resistance spool which is around 2 yeasr old kept at 25 deg room temperature at around 4

resistor networks- leadless vs. gull wing

I am in the process of picking a new resistor network for one of our new board. Since we are new to SMT i would like to get some opinions on networks. Currently we use one molded gullwing type network on our boards with no problems. Other than space

Thinking of Led lamp and resistor

Electronics Forum | Fri Oct 28 04:56:12 EDT 2016 | lilybell

I read a few posts here about resistor in led applications. The thing is, the resistor has clarified as this shows:was always use with a power source delivering a higher forward voltage than the led could tolerate(ex: a 9volt battery hook up to a 3w

Missing paint on a surface mount resistor

In IPC 9.2 it shows missing paint the pic is terrible, is the missing paint the defect or is it damaged down under a protective layer that is the internal element.
