Electronics Forum | Mon Oct 25 12:35:17 EDT 1999 | Steven Willett

I'm interested in anyones experience in simultaneous RF testing of multiple assemblies in a Continuous Flow Manufacturing (CFM) environment. Issues include board handling, shielding, fixture constuction and probing options.

West coast testing labs?

If you do not have any luck finding a west coast lab, but need services I am sure we can help. The only problem is we are on the east coast. Many moons ago empf was on the west coast (China Lake) but moved eastward. We are in Philadelphia, PA. (ski

Since Vic posted me privately and asked for the SIR test parameters I spoke of in my other post, I thought I'd respond on the forum. Ok, here they are, per Joe Keller--Solder / process consultant AKA Manko..... This is an accelerated SIR / dendrite

BGA post SMT reflow?

Electronics Forum | Thu Aug 13 19:30:57 EDT 2009 | secura1

I'm new to all this... we have a board with one BGA blue tooth device. one test for the board is an rf test that measure successful packet transmission. we find that we get much lower error rates if we "reflow" the BGA with a heatgun. We do this

I have to build test fixtures for RF Power transistors. These components generate alot of heat so the PCB is soldered to a baseplate. The problem I am having is that I am getting too much solder flowing thru the via's and flooding the topside of th
